Physical Description: Deika has a cream coloured coat. Her fur is fairly soft and short, due to her British Shorthair ancestry. It is a creamy beige colour with small flecks of gold mixed in that you can only see if you look closely. This gives a rich creamy effect. She is a mackerel tabby, with slightly more orange stripes covering her pelt. She has a small, stocky build with a round head, ears and body. Her shoulders are strong and have a thin scar running from blade to blade across her back. Her eyes are almond shaped, and a bright yellow colour, they give the impression that she is questioning you most of the time.
The Good: Cats like Deika because she is very strong-willed and dependable. She will do whatever it takes to get the task done. She is a very loyal friend, and loyal to the sunclaws. She likes things in order, and keeps very organized, but she still loves to have fun. She is very playful when she’s in the right mood. Deika doesn’t let much stand in her way, she will fight for what she believes in. Outgoing could also be a word used to describe her, she will be the first to talk to any new cat and is always around when something interesting is going on.
The Bad: Deika can be pretty judgmental, even prejudiced sometimes. She forms an opinion of people before she even gets to know them well, and is very stubborn. It takes a lot to make her change her mind. She looks for the faults in people, and they bug her to no end. Don’t be surprised if she tries to change you! She is very ambitious, and this can be dangerous when combined with her stubborn personality. She has wanted to be seconded for some time, but the current second doesn’t like her too much and would never choose her as his successor.
History: Deika was born to the Sunclaws. Her kithood was spent as most are, playful and carefree. However, when it came to the time of her pilgrimage, her over-protective parents didn’t feel she was ready. They decided to wait one more quarter sun before she was sent out. She had to watch her friends and playmates her age become Sunclaws before she could. This made her so frustrated that she left anyways after 8 sunrises. Her parents panicked, but the leader didn’t do anything. He knew she was ready. When she came back from her pilgrimage, she fought her first battle against a group of rogues. That was where she received her scar, after fighting an experienced old she-cat. When the old chief died, she was hopeful that the next chief would pick her as heir, but that wasn’t so. She now wants the position of second really badly, and hopes that the next second picks her as heir.
